Tales From The Asphalt Dancefloor redux
From this point forward Vodka Tonic will be selling the Tales From The Asphalt Dancefloor compilation in a "Vinyl + CD" combination format. We are taking our existing inventory of CDs (full color digipaks) and inserting them inside the clear sleeve of the picture disc vinyl record. Then we place a label on the clear plastic sleene that says "CD + Vinyl". We already have Eastside Records and Stinkweeds Records here in AZ selling these combos already.
I am a big fan of the "Vinyl + mp3" format. Any audiophile who invests in a deluxe vinyl recording should be entitled to the mp3s. For ...Asphalt... we used return postcards for people who bought the vinyl. They send to us postcard and we email them a link to our top-secret mp3 folder. We also offered mp3s to our pre-order customers as well. For our most recent release; Blanche Davidian Orange Sunshine, we sent pre-order customers a download card manufactured by our friends at DiscRevolt that gave them 4 songs free to enjoy (plus bonus tracks) before the album was finally delivered to him. We now anticipate more vinyl releases in the future that will have an mp3 counterpart rather than a CD.

THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME
Today (Sept 11) is the street release date for the long awaited second album from Blanche Davidian, ORANGE SUNSHINE.
We just made the second single "Queef Action" available for free download on Myspace ( http://www.myspace.com/blanchedavidian). You can still download the first single "Chlamydia Schiffer" as well. If nothing in this post motivates you to buy our record, please feel free to atleast grab a couple of songs free and add them to your iPod, Zen, etc.

This CD is hot. You can hear a few cuts on both the Vodka Tonic Radio LIVE365 stream and in our podcasts archives. I hear the vinyl is very close to selling out, but you can buy the CD at CDBABY.com.
